Moments 2.25: Silver Edition

So much better, it could have been called Moments 3, but we still have big plans ahead...

New Features​

  • Category and Tags support!
    • Each Moment can be assigned a Category and one or more Tags.
    • The Picker (inside the Filter menu) allows you to easily find the Moments you are looking for.
    • AutoFill
    • Sounds familiar? Yes, the same simple yet powerful organizing feature from Kase. In some ways, the implementation in Moments is even better...
  • In the Moments List, first noticeable is probably the effects of two new View options: Show Number of Moments, and Show Age of Moment
  • Then you might notice the Add button is now floating on bottom right, making way for the much expanded View, Filter, and Search buttons:
    • View: Besides the aforementioned Show options, both Group by and Sort by have been much enhanced:
      • Group works independently even when sorted by Name.
      • Sort by Time or by Name, and both are reversible (also non-nils first where it makes sense). (Sortable)
    • Filter: Filter and a new Picker based on the new Category & Tags capability.
    • Search: Now with multiple scopes. (Searchable)
    • Add button: Import Samples, Auto Generate, Delete Options, etc.
  • Much faster: Tested with 100's of 1000's of Moments.
  • Last but not least, a new "Open in Time Span" context menu item lets you directly select the Moment for Time Span.

Enhancements​

  • Time Span
    • Respects all the view settings from the Moments tab.
    • Updated design with serif italic fonts.
    • Better performance: Now backed by FRCs.
  • Time Tavel: Clock mode button centered (back to original design).
  • More robust data migration
  • Foil 6.0

Fixes​

  • App icon on Mac fixed (simplified with Single Size)
